Our 2015 deer hunting season is already behind us. Unlike Anticosti and Québec, the Saskatchewan deer population recovered rapidly from the difficult winters of 2013 and 2014. Taking into account these harsh winters, we at Bear Buck Obsession and our hunters are very satisfied with our 2015 hunting season. Except for two hunters, everyone had an opportunity on a mature buck of 3.5 years old minimum. And 80% of our hunters had one or more opportunities on bucks that were 4.5 years old or older. On December 8th, at which time we closed the camps, we had less than 6 inches of snow on the ground and the coldest temperature that we had in the last month was -12℃. Our local trappers had already begun active control of predators.

Here is a sample of some of the bucks that were taken this fall and some others that were passed, missed or never showed up while the hunters were on stands. They will be there in 2016, even bigger and available for our hunters.

Our sincere thanks to our hunters who have placed their trust in us in this hunting adventure.

We are fully booked for the 2016 season. We are accepting reservations with deposits for the 2017 season. Don't wait ...
